Visitor Agreement
www.humber-half.org.uk is the website associated with the Humber Bridge Half
Marathon which is organised by the Rotary Club of Hull for the purpose of raising
money for charitable purposes. The Rotary Club of Hull is a Registered Charity No:
1027862. and may be contacted via the website or by writing to The Rotary Club of
Hull, Pearson Park Hotel, Pearson Park, Hull HU5 2TQ. Your access to and use of
the Site is subject to these Terms of Use, the Site’s Privacy Policy which forms
part of these Terms of Use (which can be found by clicking on the Privacy Policy
link on the homepage of the Site) and all applicable laws. Your use of the Site
constitutes your unqualified agreement to accept and comply with these Terms of
Use.
1. Use Of The Site
The Site is offered as an information service and entry facility to those wishing
to participate in the Humber Bridge Half Marathn or Fun Run. . The Site must not
be used by you for any commercial purpose. The Site is directed solely at those
who access the Site from the United Kingdom. Whilst we use reasonable efforts to
include accurate and up-to-date information on the Site, errors may occur. We cannot
give any warranty or representation as to the accuracy of the information, and do
not accept responsibility for errors or omissions or for any action or decisions
based on the information. We do not warrant that your access to the Site will be
uninterrupted. Your use of the Site is at your risk. Action should not be taken
without obtaining specific advice. The information and materials provided on the
Site are of a general nature only and cannot be regarded as constituting advice
or recommendations (professional or otherwise). We do not accept any liability for
any direct, indirect, special or consequential losses or damages of whatever nature,
including but not limited to loss of anticipated savings, data, goodwill or contracts
resulting from whatever cause. We exclude all warranties, express or implied, relating
to the information and materials on the Site to the fullest extent permitted by
law. Nothing in these Terms of Use limits or excludes any rights you may have as
a consumer or any liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal
injury resulting from our negligence.

or from one page to another within the same website. The Site contains hypertext
links to third parties’ websites. Any hypertext links between the Site and any third
party website are provided for your convenience only and we accept no liability
whatsoever for the contents of any such third party website. We exclude to the fullest
extent permitted by law all liability that may arise in connection with or as a

Whilst we try to keep our anti-virus software up-to-date we do not warrant that
the Site, its servers, downloadable files or e-mails which may be sent by us, are

to introduce any virus or other contaminant to the Site or any of its software or
systems or in any way attempt to access, alter, de-compile, reverse engineer, destroy
or otherwise tamper with any part of the Site, its software or systems.

all charges you incur in accessing and using the Site.
